Volunteering with Arise Ministries begins with a simple desire: to make a difference for Christ in the lives of young people in the juvenile justice system. New volunteers participate in ministry training that equips them for small group Bible studies, listening well, and building healthy, Christ centered relationships. A standard background check is required, followed by institution-specific training to ensure volunteers understand facility expectations and can serve safely and confidently. We’re looking for people who are willing to show up consistently, offer compassion, and share the hope of Jesus with youth who often feel overlooked.
