What We Do
Bible Studies and Worship Services
Arise Ministries provides weekly Bible studies and Sunday worship services inside juvenile detention centers, offering group teaching, discussion, and space for youth to ask honest questions. Volunteers pray with individuals, listen to their stories, and offer Christ centered guidance. Through consistent presence, pastoral care, and even memorial services when needed, these gatherings create a safe place for young people to encounter hope and experience the love of Christ.
Mentoring
Our mentoring program pairs caring adults with youth who are currently in correctional facilities. Mentors spend time with teens through fun activities that build relationships that reflect God’s love. They serve as spiritual guides and life coaches, walking alongside at-risk youth as they navigate challenges and take steps toward a healthier future.
Follow-Up
Arise Ministries are prepared to connect with teens after they return home by reaching out through phone calls or mail. This simple but meaningful follow-up reminds youth that they are not forgotten and that someone continues to care about their wellbeing, spiritual growth, and next steps beyond detention.
Provide Literature
We supply youth with Christ-centered literature both for use inside the facility and to keep as personal resources. These materials include Bibles, discipleship workbooks, devotional books, and titles written specifically for incarcerated youth. By placing solid, accessible resources in their hands, we help teens explore faith, build biblical understanding, and continue growing long after each session ends.
